DEEP FREEZE

Save your SYSTEM DRIVE from virus attacks! This is the most preventive way to avoid your computer from crashing. Protect your system drive. Its the most important drive in your computer. When crashed, your computer will crash. There are many important files hidden files in your C path or System Path, such as boot.ini. Boot.ini provides the code for which the computer to know which drive to boot when turning on your computer. There are still many system files there that we need to protect. To protect those, we need to have a program that gives protection. Anti-viruses are one of these. But this isn't just enough. There are other viruses that are not yet registered in some anti-virus programs and there are also some that are not considered to be viruses. We can use some programs that protect our hard drives from these kind of things. We can use Deep Freeze. It is a simple program that protects your computer by not registering the files that have been put into any folder or drive with Deep Freeze Protection Turned On. So once you restarted your computer or booted your computer again. Those files are automatically deleted in your Hard Drive. Try it. Download My copy. Only 4Mb

Win32 Programming

or simply say WINDOWS APPLICATION PROGRAMMING. This is most probably the challenging programming I'm starting to learn. Win32s is a 32-bit application runtime environment for the Microsoft Windows 3.11 operating system. It allowed some 32-bit applications to run on the 16-bit operating system using call thunks (by WIKIPEDIA). To whoever might get interested in learning this kind of programming try the FORGER's Win32 application tutorial.

BATCH PROGRAMMING

Hello guys! I knew some of you doesn't know anything about this kind of programming. Thats why i made a post of this simple programming. BATCH PROGRAMMING is simply defined in WIKIPEDIA as execution of series of commands or programs ("jobs") on a computer without human interaction. BATCH PROGRAMMING.
Batch processing has these benefits:
* It allows sharing of computer resources among many users and programs,
* It shifts the time of job processing to when the computing resources are less busy,
* It avoids idling the computing resources with minute-by-minute human interaction and supervision,
* By keeping high overall rate of utilization, it better amortizes the cost of a computer, especially an expensive one.

Here is a simple Batch Programming using DOS Commands. BATCH SHUTDOWN

The World's most Intelligent Man!

The cleverest man lives in St. Petersburg. It has become recently known that the mathematician Grigory Perelman was named the primary candidate to this title. Izvestiya first wrote about him in 2003, when he managed to solve one the top seven problems of the millennium: to describe mathematically the “Formula of the Universe.” Now Perelman is eligible to receive a million dollar award.

The ceremony on honor of the most intelligent man on the planet is going to take place in Madrid on August 22 right after the session of the International Mathematical Association. This Association wit the support of a private mathematical college in Boston generated a special award of the Fields Medal plus the $1 million prize for those who solved the millennium’s most difficult problems.

Perelman, 40, succeeded in proving the Puankare Hypothesis (otherwise known as the “Formula of the Universe) which was originally formulated in 1904. Some of the best minds have been struggling with it for over a century.

Grigory Perelman was born in St. Petersburg in a family of white-collar workers. Even during his school years he knew math better than any of his educators. “But Grisha never boasted of his talent. He is a very modest and humble man, perhaps even too humble,” explains Tamara Efimova, his former teacher. Without having to pass any exams Perelman was accepted into the mathematical college of St. Petersburg State University.

Recently he resigned from his position at Steklov’s Institute. “Many have pleaded with him to stay but his decision was permanent,” – comments an employee, who asked to remain anonymous. As he was quitting, Perelman told his co-workers not to give the media any commentaries.

The extraordinary man is highly respected in the mathematical circles abroad but some consider him “a little mad” after he refused to accept the European Mathematical Award. It is believed he found the jury not qualified enough to judge his works.

“This man is an introvert. Perhaps sometimes he gives an impression of a slightly insane person. But madness is not a vice. On the contrary, it is the quality of all bright mathematicians,” comments Eugene Damaskinsky, also a mathematician and an employee of Steklov’s Institute.

In his view Perelman is capable of rejecting both the medal and the money award. “If it turns out that he has to go through some humiliating bureaucratic procedures, he may very well refuse to accept the money. And besides, would the Russian scientist Perelman want to find himself in the company of those who already received this award? I am not sure that being considered the most intelligent man by some private American college is very honorable.”

Case Studies No.1

Case Study about Tom's Maine and its founder, Tom Chappell:

We found out that the best ethical behavior describes Tom’s of Maine and their founders, Tom Chappell are the utilitarian view and the moral-rights view. First, utilitarian view is described as an ethical behavior that delivers the greatest good to the most people. Tom Chappell and his company made their very best to gain profit while serving the community well. To be concerned with the community and even to the world is one of his views or principles. Second, moral-rights view is described as the ethical behavior that respects and protects fundamental rights. One significant example of this is the style of how products (Tom’s Maine) were made. All products of Tom’s Maine were made with all-natural ingredients and were package using recycled material whenever possible. Tom’s Maine waited seven years and spends about ten times the usual sum to get the American Dental Association’s seal of approval for its fluoride toothpastes just for avoiding the controversial practice of animal-testing. Tom Chappell, have particular programs that helps its employees to be more progressive on their fields and also it gives them the opportunity to reach out and to be able to render their services in many charitable organizations in the country for free. In this case, the Company and the Founder itself have these moral-rights view and utilitarian view of ethical behavior since they were able to serve the community while gaining profit and protect not only the rights of Mother Nature but also the fundamental rights of its employees.

Tom Chappell’s views were the most important factors that made the company (Tom’s Maine) successful. First of all, he was a nature-lover, producing products made all by natural ingredients and recycling things whenever it’s possible. Second, he thinks about his customers, he was making profits while acting in a responsible manner. Third, he thinks what his customers or buyers think. Tom’s of Maine distinguish itself from other companies by stressing the “common good” in its entire endeavor. Fourth, he loves his employees. He gave them benefits such as fair pay, helping individual employees earn their high school equivalency degrees and develop skills for new positions. Lastly, the most important view or principle of Tom Chappell, IDEALISM, means sticking to one’s principles and ethics even in the face of pessimistic analysts and naysayers. These are the factors that made Tom Chappell’s company successful for more than three decades now.

Tom Chappell follows Proactive kind of strategy. Proactive Strategy is defined as a design which meets all the criteria of social performance, including discretionary performance. As what I have read in the article, Tom Chappell’s company is very aware of what their consumers think about their particular products.

Tom Chappell made a great leap in the field of management. For three decades now, he and his company are still continuing to innovate for effective and efficient productivity while sticking to its principles and ethics.
